In a recent Instagram post, 50 Cent has come to the defense of Bill Cosby after the actor/comedian faced a new sexual assault lawsuit. Responding to a headline about a former Playboy model accusing Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 1969, 50 Cent expressed his belief that accusations from over half a century ago are unfair and described the lawsuit as "fucked up."

The lawsuit was filed by Victoria Valentino, an 80-year-old former actress and Playboy model. She alleges that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her and another woman at his home in 1969. Valentino took advantage of a new California law that suspends the statute of limitations on sex abuse claims, allowing her to sue Cosby.

According to Valentino's account, Cosby approached her at a café in Los Angeles where she was grieving the death of her six-year-old son. He offered to pay for spa treatment for her and a friend and arranged for them to be picked up in a chauffeured car for dinner. Valentino claims that at the dinner, Cosby gave them both a pill and then drove them back to his house. She says she passed out on a couch and woke up to witness Cosby sexually assaulting her friend. While Valentino was incapacitated from the drug, Cosby allegedly engaged in forced sexual intercourse with her.

This is not the first time Cosby has faced accusations of sexual assault. Last year, he faced allegations from six individuals in New York under a similar provision known as a "lookback" law, which allows adults to file sexual abuse cases for allegations that had fallen outside the statute of limitations.

50 Cent had previously defended Cosby in 2021 when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his sexual assault conviction, leading to his release from prison.
